This page is intended only as a resource for preservationists looking for additional funding for their projects. It contains links and information to national and state grants that are available for transportation-related restoration projects. Liberty Historic Railway is not affiliated with any of these organizations, and cannot guarantee or influence their funding decisions or disbursements.
NATIONAL FUNDING
National Railway Historical Society - Heritage Grants
Funding: up to $5,000
Availability: annual
Applications: available late summer, due early spring
Timeline: grants awarded in early summer
Tom E. Dailey Foundation - Railroad Heritage Grants
Funding: $1,000 to $15,000
Availability: quarterly
Applications: available year-round, no due date
